小知识
When you strongly disagree with something and you speak up about it, you're an objector. If most voters are objectors, the proposition to allow fireworks in your city has no chance of passing.
A person is an objector if they publicly or officially object to something. During wars, conscientious objectors are people who oppose violent conflict, usually because of their religious or ethical beliefs. If an objector is drafted into the military, they state their disagreement and are often assigned some kind of non-military service instead. The Latin root obiectare means “to oppose” or “to throw against.”
